The Charles City Public Library has received a small grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation. The library will receive $2,875, a small piece of the $4.1 million given out across the country to youth, family, summer, and adult literacy programs. The grants aim to support schools, libraries, and non-profit organizations within a 15 mile radius of a Dollar General store or distribution center.
