A local astronaut will take part in an out of this world concert in Waverly. Astronaut Raja Chari, who grew up in Cedar Falls, will bring video greetings to the Wartburg Community Symphony’s “Star Gazing” concert on Saturday, April 5th at 6:00 at Wartburg’s Neumann Auditorium.
The concert will feature selections from “Star Wars” by John Williams and music by Hans Zimmer that was featured in the film “Interstellar”. Tickets are $20 and youths 18 and young and Wartburg students are free.
