Fairbank has received a grant to expand their Little Island Child Care Center, according to KCRG. The $475,000 grant comes through the Buchanan County Economic Development Commission. The funds will be used to expand the facility to include three additional care and playrooms, two bathrooms, an expanded kitchen with industrial quality appliances, additional storage space, and a work room near the infant area to improve efficiency and safety.
