A Waterloo man has been sentenced for sexually abusing an 11 year old girl, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 44 year old Jerry Keller took a plea deal which saw his initial charge of Lascivious Acts With a Child reduced to second degree Sexual Abuse. He has now been sentenced to up to 10 years in prison. He will have to register as a sex offender once he is released from prison. Keller abused the girl in May of 2023 and was arrested in June of that year. Yesterday we told you of another Waterloo man convicted of sexually abusing another 11 year old girl. 37 year old Tahjah Shepard put his hand around the girl’s neck during the attack and threatened to put her to sleep if she screamed. He faces up to 25 years in prison when he is sentenced in April.
