A Waterloo physician who was previously sanctioned for sexual misconduct is now facing disciplinary charges for sexual harassment, according to the Iowa Capital Dispatch. The Iowa Board of Medicine has charged Dr. Danny Lewis Jr. with unprofessional conduct and sexual harassment. The board did not disclose any details related to these charges. In March of 2020 Lewis came to a settlement with the Board after he entered into a sexual relationship with one of his patients and continued to treat her. Lewis paid a $1,000 civil penalty and completed the terms of license probation in that case. A hearing for the new charges has been scheduled for April 17th.
