Local Physician’s Assistant Suspended for Alleged Sexual Assaults

A Cedar Falls Physician’s Assistant has been immediately suspended for allegedly sexually assaulting several patients, according to KWWL. The State of Iowa Board of Physician Assistants issued an emergency order suspending James Haag after receiving multiple accusations of sexual assault. Haag was practicing occupational medicine at MercyOne on Bluebell Road. The allegations date back to July of last year. In all four cases the patients say that Haag instructed them to disrobe without a nurse or other person present. During the physicals Haag allegedly made physical contact with the patients private parts, either with his hands or his own clothed pelvic area. Haag allegedly also made inappropriate contact with the patients breasts and would swat the patient’s hands away if they attempted to cover up. A hearing has been set for February 7th. No criminal charges have been filed to this point.
