A Waterloo sex offender has been arrested after failing to register online profiles with authorities, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. In June the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children sent Waterloo Police an alert that a Kik profile from the area was allegedly trafficking child porn. The Kik profile in question was owned by 39 year old Joshua Woodward, who is already a registered sex offender. Investigators also found a Gmail address that Woodward had allegedly not registered with authorities. Woodward has been charged with Violation of the Sex Offender Registry. He is a registered sex offender afer being convicted of Assault With Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse in Fayette County in 2014. His victim in that case was an adult female.
