American Idol winner Maddie Poppe is returning to her home county to put on a concert with Idol runner up Caleb Lee Hutchinson on June 21st as part of the Butler County Fair in Allison.
On the way to her Idol victory last year Poppe put on a concert at the fairgrounds that boasted a crowd of more than 10,000. Since winning Idol Poppe has released 2 singles, appeared on multiple national TV shows including Jimmy Kimmel, Live with Kelly and Ryan and, performed around the county on the American Idol Live Tour.
Hutchinson, the Idol runner up will open the show and is a native of Dallas, Georgia. His single Johnny Cash Heart reached #18 on the country digital chart last year.
The concert is expected to be a sellout. Super Saver Ticket packs will go on sale on December 17th to be available in time for Christmas in a limited quantity for $30. Tickets will be available at butlercountyfair.org and locally at select business’s. The Super Saver Ticket pack allows admission to all 6 fair events. Pending availability individual tickets for the concert will be available in May for $25.
