Man Accused of Killing is Found Not-Guilty

A man accused of killing two people in nightclub shooting in Waterloo in 2020 has been found not guilty, according to KWWL. Willie Saffold Jr. was accused of killing Dacarious Burkett and Takeya Hogan-Camp in a shooting at an after hours club in September of 2020. Saffold’s lawyer argued at trial that while surveillance footage shows Saffold shooting his gun, it was done in self-defense, and beyond that he did not fire the fatal shots. The jury agreed and found Saffold not guilty on all counts.
