A Cedar Falls man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a dog, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The owner of the dog noticed that it was limping and appeared unsteady. When they checked surveillance video to determined what happened, they found the video allegedly showed 34 year old Zachary Smith defiling the dog. Smith told police he was under the influence of THC gummies and had given the gummies to the dog as well for “calming purposes”. Smith was booked into the Black Hawk County Jail before posting bail and being released. Under Iowa Code, anyone convicted of bestiality is required to submit to a psychological evaluation and treatment.
