A Buchanan County man was seriously injured Saturday morning after falling off of a tractor, according to KWWL. The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 2000 block of 170th Street around 6:45 a.m. The man was trying to climb onto a Massey Ferguson 255 when he lost his balance and fell backward. In doing so he hit the shifter, which caused the tractor to roll forward. The man fell against a fence and partially under the tractor. The man, who has not been identified, was airlifted to the University of Iowa Health Care Center in Iowa City.
