A Waterloo man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his pregnant wife and threatening the lives of their children, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 43 year old Brian Riley is accused of pushing and slapping his wife in the early morning hours of June 29th. She then went to a friend’s house. Riley allegedly began sending her text messages including a picture of him burning her clothes. He then allegedly threatened to throw their six year old daughter off a bridge and sent a picture of him holding a knife while one of their four year old sons slept. Riley has been charged with Domestic Assault and first degree Harassment. He has been released pending trial.
