A Waterloo man has been arrested for allegedly firing a gun into the air, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police were called to an apartment complex on Miriam Drive around 4:20 Saturday morning on a report of shots fired. They found a spent 9mm shell casing at the scene. They discovered the suspect, 30 year old Kevantae Reed, in a vehicle behind the apartments. Inside the vehicle they found a 9mm handgun between the driver’s seat and the center console. Reed has been charged with Reckless Use of a Firearm, Carrying Weapons While Intoxicated and other charges.
