A Waterloo man has been arrested after allegedly striking a teenage boy in April with his vehicle, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 33 year old Chaston Fox is accused of hitting the 13 year old boy in the area of Linn and Ricker Streets at around 6pm on April 22nd. Fox then allegedly fled the scene. The boy was left with abrasions, a bloody nose, and leg injuries and had to be taken to the hospital. Police found front end damage to a Jeep Grand Cherokee found at Fox’s home. The Jeep also matched the vehicle seen in video camera footage of the incident. Fox has been charged with Leaving the Scene of a Serious Injury Accident.
