A Waterloo man has been arrested for allegedly selling an SUV that was not his, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Late last year police pulled over a 2010 Ford Escape that had been reported stolen. The people in the Escape told police that they had bought the vehicle from their neighbor and was able to produce a bill of sale. That led police to 48 year old Dale Ulfers. He told police that the SUV belonged to a female acquaintance and that she had left it at the apartment complex where he lived. He went on to say he got tired of seeing it in the parking lot, so he sold it. Ulfers was charged with second degree Theft. He was released from jail pending trial.
