Cedar Falls Police were called to an assault in progress in the early morning hours of Saturday. When they arrived two women alleged they had been assaulted by 25 year old Kane Swehla. One victim was treated for her injuries at the scene while the other was taken to a hospital. A search of the area could not locate Swehla. However, a couple hours later he was located and arrested after a short struggle. Swehla has been charged with 1st Degree Burglary, Assault While Participating in a Felony, Domestic Abuse Assault, 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief, and Interference with Official Acts.
