Waterloo Police have arrested a man they say led them on a chase over the weekend, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police spotted a GMC Envoy with snow covering its license plate on Saturday night on Broadway Street around 11:30 p.m. When police attempted to pull them over, the Envoy refused to stop. Speeds reached 50mph in a 25mph zone with the driver, later identified as 27 year old Shane Jensen, driving on the wrong side of the road and nearly hitting several cars before eventually crashing into a parked car. Jensen allegedly ran off but was later located at a home. He has been charged with felony Eluding, Reckless Driving, and other charges.
