A man wanted in connection with a raid on a Cedar Falls home back in July was arrested after a short chase, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 27 year old William Burt was spotted by police in the passenger’s seat of a car in a parking lot on Broadway Street. When police approached the vehicle the driver took off. Not long later the car stopped at Broadway and Dawson Streets where Burt took off running. He attempted to hide under a parked vehicle but could not fit and was taken into custody. Officers found prescription pills in Burt’s possession. He was wanted on federal gun charges related to the raid on the Cedar Falls home that found five pistols as well. The driver of the car, 22 year old Keelan Berry, was arrested for eluding and possession of marijuana.
