A Waterloo man arrested in Mason City for allegedly drunkenly driving a stolen vehicle is pleading not guilty and will go to trial, according to KIMT. 27 year old Brody Buck was pulled over on October 3rd. Police reported that he had bloodshot and watery eyes, slurred speech, strongly smelled of alcohol, and they found multiple open containers in the vehicle. Buck failed field sobriety tests and his blood alcohol content was measured at .138, which is over the limit to drive. The vehicle Buck was driving was not registered to him and he was banned from driving in the State of Iowa. Buck was also found in possession of marijuana. He has been charged with first degree Theft, Possession of Marijuana 3rd offense, OWI 2nd offense, and Driving While Barred. He will go to trial on January 23rd.
