A Waterloo man has been arrested after being caught by an online vigilante group trying to meet a 12 year old girl for sex, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Members of Predator Poachers Southeast Texas, based out of Houston, began communicating with 46 year old Gabriel Usher several months ago posing as a 12 year old girl. During their communication Usher allegedly instigated sexual conversations, sent pictures of his genitals, and a video of himself masturbating. Communication showed that he planned to shower with, cuddle, kiss, and have sex with the person he believed to be a 12 year old girl when they met in person. Predator Poachers set up shop in an apartment complex where Usher showed up hoping to meet the child. Police were summoned and Usher was arrested. He was charged with Enticing a Minor for Sexual Abuse. He is already a registered sex offender after being convicted of Taking Indecent Liberties With a Child in 2001. He is also currently awaiting trial in Johnson County for allegedly trying to meet a 15 year old girl for sex in another sting operation in October.
