A Waterloo man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting an employee at a Cedar Falls massage parlor in September, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police were called to Asian TuiNa Massage just before 8pm on September 26th on a report of a woman screaming and crying outside. When they arrived on scene they found the woman with a bloody nose. She told police she had been attacked inside the business by a man who attempted to sexually assault her. Security camera footage showed the suspect grab the victim by the hair and around the neck and told her to take her pants off. He also allegedly prevented her from escaping and attempted to pull her into different rooms in the building as she pushed him away. He eventually left the building. Investigators used facial recognition technology to develop a suspect and confirmed his identity as 36 year old Eric Spain. He has been charged with Assault With Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse and Assault Causing Bodily Injury. He is being held on a $10,000 bond.
