A man has been arrested for pointing a gun at a woman he was in a relationship with, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The woman told police she saw 34 year old Leonard Thomas at a convenience store around 10:30 Thanksgiving night. He allegedly chased her in his vehicle and pulled up next to her before pointing a gun at her and threatening to shoot her. The woman said she recognized the gun because she had bought it and he had allegedly stolen it during their relationship. Thomas has been charged with Assault While Displaying a Weapon. His bond has been set at $2,000.
