A Maynard man was arrested last week after allegedly breaking a No Contact Order and beating a woman to the point she had to be hospitalized. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was called to 115 Rich Street in Maynard at 11:40am last Wednesday where they found the victim suffering from her injuries. An investigation led them to 26 year old Joseph Kane. He has been charged with Willful Injury, Assault, and Violation of a No Contact Order. He is being held on an $11,000 cash only bond. He was arrested in January for violating the No Contact order and Domestic Abuse Assault With Intent to Inflict Serious Injury. That was after he had already violated the No Contact Order in August.
