An Illinois man has been arrested for taking an Independence girl to a hotel in Waterloo in order to have sex with her, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 23 year old Logan Hilliard of Davis Junction, Illinois has been charged with three counts of third degree Sexual Abuse, four counts of Enticing a Minor, and one count each of Harboring a Runaway and Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Minor. Police say Hilliard met the girl on SnapChat when the girl was 13 years old. About a year later, on August 19th, he allegedly picked her up in Independence and took her to a hotel in Waterloo, where they had sex. Then on November 15th, he allegedly picked her up again, this time they went to a park in Independence where they, again, had sex. Hilliard also allegedly sent pictures of his genitals to the girl. As part of the investigation police took the victim’s phone. During that time Hilliard allegedly continued to text the phone, asking for pictures and making sexual comments.
