A Waterloo woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing from a paralyzed woman in September, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls courier. 41 year old Pauline Bearbower along with another person, allegedly broke into the victim’s apartment around 9pm on September 30th while the victim was in bed. Bearbower moved the victim’s wheelchair away from the bed so that the victim could not get out of bed. Bearbower and her accomplice are accused of taking $90 in cash as well as prepaid debit card as the woman screamed for help. Bearbower has been charged with second degree burglary. Her bond has been set at $10,000.
