A Mason City man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a Waverly woman’s vehicle in Waterloo, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The woman, who was not identified, reported her Chevrolet Traverse stolen on October 3rd. She said it was parked at 235 Fisher Drive in Waterloo. Then, on Saturday, a patrol officer spotted the vehicle driving down the road. He followed it to the dead end of Fairview Avenue. A man got out of the vehicle and headed into nearby woods. He was later detained and identified as 33 year old Cody Behrends. He has been charged with first degree Theft. His bond has been set at $5,000.
