Cedar Falls Police have arrested a man accused of kidnapping his own children, according to KWWL. 22 year old Deshaun Jackson was arrested on Saturday and charged with 1st degree burglary, domestic abuse assault, and obstruction of emergency communications. Jackson allegedly broke into the residence of his children’s mother, assaulted her and took the children. The mother also alleges that Jackson destroyed her phone during the incident. Waterloo Police assisted Cedar Falls Police in taking Jackson into custody.
