A man who threatened to blow up Durant Elementary School in Sumner has been sentenced, according to KIMT. 27 year old Ean Weipert of Colesburg avoided major prison time when he pleaded guilty a lesser charge of 1st degree harassment in the case. He was sentenced to a maximum of two years of supervised probation and has been ordered to complete an anger management class. Weipert called the school back on March 19th and saying that he was going to “take care of anyone in his way and blow it up.”
