A man awaiting trial for several crimes in Floyd County has been arrested for stealing a truck and construction trailer in Clear Lake, according to KIMT. 29 year old Nicholas McLeland and an unidentified person stole the truck and trailer from a location in Clear Lake on February 24th before abandoning them in another location and taking $35,000 worth of tools from the trailer. Some of those tools were found in a storage unit belonging to McLeland on March 5th. McLeland and 21 year old Curtis Anderson, of Waterloo, have been charged with multiple burglaries and thefts in Floyd County between March 3rd and 5th. Both have pleaded not guilty in that case.
