Police were called to a former care facility that has long since been empty on a report of people breaking in to the building on Monday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Neighbors began to see footprints in the snow and wheelchairs and other objects strewn about the yard back in December. Police found 26 year old Juan Carlos Perez inside the building. He was arrested on charges of third degree Burglary and Possession of Burglary Tools. The building formerly housed the Parkview Gardens Care Center for 45 years before they moved out in 2013.
