The man whose body was pulled from the Cedar River in Waterloo has been identified, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Authorities say that 70 year old Reginald Fox was fishing from the bank near the docks at Exchange Park on September 5th when he collapsed due to a medical condition and fell into the river. Passersby noticed his lifeless body in the water and alerted authorities. Fox’s body was brought ashore where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death has not yet been determined and is pending the results of an autopsy.
