A Charles City man who also has spent some time in Waverly has escaped from a residential center in Mason City, according to KIMT. 38 year old Dean Naeve, who was a cafeteria worker at Wartburg in the early 2000s, was on work release for Administering a Harmful Substance in Floyd County when he failed to report back to the Beje Clark Residential Center on Saturday. He is described as a White man, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 177 pounds. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact local police. He does have a history of violence.
