A man as evaded arrest to this point after crashing a stolen vehicle into a house during a police chase late Tuesday night, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Officers attempted to pull over a Ford Fusion at around 11:30 Tuesday night in the area of Gable and Manson Streets. The driver refused to pull over and lost control of the vehicle turning from Gable Street onto Peek Street. The Fusion crashed through a chain link fence and struck the front of the home at 601 Gable Street, damaging the residence. The driver then ran away from the scene and remains at large. No injuries have been reported.
