A Waterloo man was arrested after being found hiding in the closet of an apartment he allegedly broke into, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 24 year old Thomas Connor is seen on security camera footage picking the lock to an apartment at 3601 Cobblestone Circle around 11:00 a.m. last Tuesday. The camera notified the resident who returned home and found Connor in a closet. He held him there until police arrived on scene. A letter allegedly written by Connor was also found that outlined “sexual plans” to commit against the victim’s relatives. Connor was charged with third degree Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, and two counts of third degree Harassment. He was released pending trial.
