A 47-year old Waterloo man has been sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison over a September 2020 shootout in the parking lot of a liquor store. The judge said the incident was “not unlike the Wild West.” Charles Antony Ware was charged as a felon illegally in possession of a firearm. Ware pleaded guilty in March. Ware has 30 convictions in his past which include assaulting women.
