A Waterloo man with previous transgressions involving child pornography has again been indicted on child porn charges, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 69 year old Forrest Rindels has been indicted on a charge of Receipt and Possession of Child Porn. Rindels allegedly received pornographic images involving children between October of 2021 and March of 2022 and stored the images on a laptop and SD card. He has a prior conviction from 2015 when child pornography was found on computer equipment in his home along with marijuana plants and firearms. He served five years on those charges but while on supervised release was caught viewing and storing more child porn and would not allow authorities to monitor his computer activity. He was sent back to prison but was released in November of 2023.
