The man killed near Hazleton on Wednesday after being electrocuted while trimming trees has been identified. The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene around 10:45 Wednesday morning. Deputies believe 51 year old Gregory Brandt of Fairbank was using a boom lift to trim a tree when he came into contact with a power line. Brandt was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing at this time.
