Charles City Police saved a 30 year old man after he either fell or jumped from the suspension bridge into the Cedar River on Sunday, according to KIMT. Police were called to the scene around 11:45 Sunday morning. The responding officer took off his duty gear, jumped into the river, and pulled the man to safety. The man was taken to the Floyd County Medical Center. His name is not being released at this time.
