A Charles City man has been sentenced to prison time after being found guilty of sexually abusing a child, according to KIMT. 39 year old Charles Fisher pleaded not guilty to charges of second degree Sexual Abuse and Lascivious Acts With a Child. The jury took just four hours to determine Fisher was guilty of both counts. Fisher had sexual contact with a child under the age of 10 in June of 2023 and then sexually abused the child in January of 2024. He has now been sentenced to up to 25 years in prison and must register as a sex offender once he is released.
