A Swaledale man has been sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for participating in a home invasion in Waterloo, according to KIMT. 36 year old Joshua Truax pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm as an armed career criminal. He was sentenced to 10 years and 6 months in prison with a five year term of supervised release to be served after the prison sentence. Truax admitted to breaking into a home with several others with two stolen firearms. During the break in they tried to kidnap one person and assaulted another. Both firearms were fired during the crime.
