A man who shot a gun at a woman who sprayed him with bear spray has been sentenced to prison time, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 25 year old Tyler Everett was leaving the Family Dollar on Broadway in June of 2021 when Kynesha Harrington approached him in the parking lot and sprayed him and his car with bear spray. Everett pulled out a handgun and fired twice at the van that Harrington had gotten into. One bullet struck the van, the other hit a window of a nearby Kwik Star. Everett pleaded guilty to one count of Intimidation with a Weapon and has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Harrington pleaded guilty to misdemeanor Assault and was fined $300. This past August she was arrested for spraying a woman with bear spray. That trial has been set for later this month.
