A North Liberty man already serving 100 years in prison for breaking into the homes of two women in Waterloo and Cedar Falls and raping them has now been sentenced to 50 more years in prison for doing something similar to an Iowa City woman, according to KCRG. Asante Walker-Garcia Adams broke in to a woman’s apartment near Hawkeye Community College and raped her in 2023. Then he did the same thing at a woman’s apartment near UNI. For those crimes he was sentenced to 100 years in prison. Prior to that Walker-Garcia Adams broke into the home of a woman in Iowa City and raped her. He has now been sentenced to 50 years in prison on top of the 100 he is already serving. He will also go to trial in June for allegedly robbing, kidnapping, and assaulting a woman in Center Point in 2023.
