Police have arrested a Waterloo man after he allegedly set fire to a mattress inside a home Wednesday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier.
41 year old Lionell Konett Crawford, 41, of 1016 Mulberry St., was arrested for third-degree arson. Bond was set at $2,000.
Firefighters were called to a home at 222 Sumner St. around 10:10 a.m. Wednesday and found burn holes in a mattress and carpet inside the home.
Authorities allege Crawford was involved in an argument with a woman at the home and used a cigarette lighter to set the fires, according to court records.
