A man suffered a gunshot wound on Friday afternoon, possibly connected to a shooting on Logan Avenue where children were playing outside, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Shots rang out in the 700 block of Logan Avenue around 1:00 p.m. Friday, sending sending those in the area, including several children, scrambling for cover. Police found several shell casings on scene. Then, a man on Fowler Street called 911 for an ambulance after he reported being shot in the arm as he sat in a car. Law enforcement have not yet confirmed that the two incidents are related. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
