An Eldora man has been arrested after allegedly hitting a Missouri man with a gun at a hotel in Cedar Falls on Monday, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 55 year old Michael Christensen is accused of hitting Gregory Scott of Jefferson City, Missouri with a handgun and threatening to kill him during an incident at the Suburban Extended Stay at around 3:00 a.m. Monday. Officers found Christensen at a Kwik Star a short time later and confiscated the gun. He has been charged with Assault While Displaying a Dangerous Weapon, first degree Harassment, and Assault With Bodily Injury. Scott suffered facial injuries in the attack. It is unclear what led to the incident.
