A Waterloo resident armed with a BB gun was able to detain an intruder early Thursday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 40 year old Joshua Wilson allegedly broke into a home on Santa Maria Drive around 12:30am through an unlocked door. The resident met Wilson with the BB gun pointed in his direction. The resident held Wilson in place until police arrived. Wilson admitted to police that he intended to steal stuff from the house. Police also found a bag of marijuana and a container of pills containing hydrocodone and methadone on Wilson. He is being held on a $13,000 bond.
