Several people were hospitalized after a semi toppled over in Waterloo Tuesday, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. It is unclear exactly how the accident happened but at least six vehicles were involved in the accident at the intersection of Washington Street and Hawthorne Avenue. A semi involved in the accident came to rest on the sidewalk in front of a Dollar Tree store. It also knocked down the sign for the store, which crumpled into the parking lot. The names of those involved have not been released.
