Weather permitting demo and construction work on the new Waverly Public Pool will begin on June 3rd. The pool is expected to be open for next year’s swimming season.
Mayor Mark Anderson shared his optimistic goal regarding the splash pad.
Anderson says the city is working on a solution to allow all to use the splash pad and also prevent people from sneaking into the pool from the splash pad without paying.
Originally the city had said the splash pad would only be free when the pool was not open.
