Authorities are investigating after a vehicle crashed around midnight in Waterloo, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The car was travelling down the 600 block of Campbell Avenue when it left the roadway, struck a “no parking” sign and a tree, then rolled, and came to rest on its roof. Its engine compartment then caught on fire. The driver was able to escape unharmed. They went to a nearby home for help. Their name has not been released to this point.
