12,000 Iowa Armed Service members and their families recently received a pork care package donation from the Deb and Jeff Hansen foundation and Iowa Select Farms.
Every member of all Iowa military units received $40 worth of coupons good for various pork products, equating to $480,000 in free pork.
It’s the fourth consecutive year that the foundation and Iowa Select has delivered pork care packages to military families. Packages additionally included packets of seasoning to make preparation easy.
